About OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project)

OWASP, the Open Web Applications Security Project, is a community established in 2004 to take precaution and solve the problems that may be caused by software that may be unsafe and harmful.

All OWASP tools, documents, forums and chapters are open to all and free of charge.

The business of the OWASP Foundation Inc. is outlined in the organizational by-laws. These by-laws govern the organization worldwide and allow the participants to understand the established process for doing so. (by-laws: https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Foundation_ByLaws)
